TechPoint knows how difficult it can be for any business to forecast what and where their IT budget will be spent in any given year. We understand the frustration that comes with each service call and are here to help. TechPoint takes the guesswork out of computing and helps you focus back on your core business.

Optional Services for the Basic TechPoint Services Agreement:

Bi-Annual Preventative Maintenance scheduling

TechPoint will provide under this option technical personnel to inspect and maintain the manufacturer specifications of all devices covered under the Services Agreement. This inspection will be to ensure that the equipment will perform as designed, locate and correct possible device malfunctions. TechPoint also provides some general cleaning and lubrication to devices where the device is in jeopardy of failure. This option allows your business to limit its failure rate and potential downtime. 

Extended Business Hours Coverage

Businesses that require on-site technical expertise that falls outside of regular business hours basic coverage (Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM *Excluding Statutory holidays) may additionally opt for Extended Business Hours Coverage. This coverage extends the business hours to that of the business operating hours.

Always On-Site Service

TechPoint provides appropriately qualified technical expertise for major system failures caused by failed hardware components. For non-major system failures, a supported exchange may be shipped to the site with remote Service Desk expertise guiding your personnel. When you select Always On-Site Service, a TechPoint qualified technician will always provide the on-site technical skills needed, big or small. This helps you focus on running your business while our people manage your IT needs.

Virus Detection and removal

The Virus Detection and Removal Program offered by TechPoint includes a one-time on-site security assessment of each PC workstation and Server. This assessment will identify any security breaches. After the assessment has been completed, TechPoint reports all findings to the appropriate manager. Installation, configuration and existing virus removal will then be implemented to remove the threat. In cases where the anti-virus software is not present or has expired, TechPoint will provide available options in choosing the right product to fit your need. Anti-Virus updates and implementation as well and renewal would also be managed by TechPoint*!

Disaster Planning and Recovery Management

Every business must plan for and be ready when disasters strike to be prepared. TechPoint offers the Disaster Planning and Recovery Management option to clients to assess and prepare for when these situations occur. TechPoint includes a One-time preliminary site survey to assess how your business can be prepared. Once the initial consultation has taken place an action plan is then put in place to offset the possible downtime that may be associated. TechPoint would then set forward recommendations allowing your business to be prepared. These recommendations could include additional hardware or software*! Once all recommendations have been implemented, bi-annual inspections are scheduled to ensure that if a disaster occurred all guidelines are being followed.
