Tech Tip – Slow PCs 04/12/17
Do you ever wonder why your system has started running slower? Like your car, your PC needs to be maintained to run at peak performance. It can be slowed down by temporary files that need to be cleaned out and unwanted programs that are not needed. If you find that your PC is not as fast as it used to be, it may be time for an analysis of how full your hard drive is and how many unneeded files are in there (i.e. cache files, temporary files, etc.). It is important to clean up the files, remove pups, and disable startup programs that are not used or needed. Then set the system to have it automatically defragment on a monthly basis.
