We all see the effects the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having on our society and public health system, and with no end in sight to the pandemic, TechPoint’s concern for the health and safety of our customers – and technicians – is at the forefront of our thoughts.

At this time, TechPoint is still determined to continue providing high-quality service to our customers. We are following and monitoring the quickly changing circumstances as per guidelines provided by Canada’s Public Health Agency, the Center for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and other global and provincial health agencies.

During the pandemic, it is important to be cautious and vigilant in our personal hygiene behaviors in social and public settings. To that effect, TechPoint technical teams incorporate the following safety procedures:

  • Arrive healthy and mindful of your safety
  • Wash hands frequently. Washing when arriving on-site, during the visit, and after leaving a site
  • Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Wear disposable latex gloves
  • Wear authorized face coverings during any on-site visit or personal interaction
  • Avoid greetings that make contact
  • Stay the proper 2-meter distance away 
  • Notify TechPoint and exercise self-isolation for 14 days if contact is made with the virus
